What to DO

- Check on others involved.
- Call the police and report the accident.
- Gather info and take photos of the accident scene.
- File an insurance claim.
What NOT to do:
- Don't admit responsibility for the accident.
- Don't ever leave the scene of the accident.
- Don't sign anything.
- Don't lose your cool.
Contact your auto insurance company as soon as possible after your accident. If you aren't sure who to call, check your insurance ID card for your insurer's contact information.
